Pastor O. was born in Illinois to Don and Ruth Ossewaarde. He moved to Russia at the age of 11 and spent the rest of his childhood serving with his family as missionaries to Russia. He trusted Christ as his Saviour shortly after moving to Russia! Pastor O. came back to America to attend camp in the summer during his teen years, there he surrendered his life to God and felt like God was calling him into full-time ministry. He moved back to America when he became an adult and attended Providence Baptist College In Elgin, IL. There he received a bachelors degree in Pastoral Theology and met his wife Jessica. He was able to serve on staff, then became the Assistant Pastor at New Testament Baptist Church in East Hartford, CT under Dr. Michael Stoddard for 9 years. In 2023, Pastor O. felt the call to become a Pastor and accepted the position as Pastor of Unity Baptist Church in October.

Pastor O. and Mrs. O. have four children, Blake, Cole, Klaire and Dean.
