Pastor O. was born in Illinois to Don and Ruth Ossewaarde. He moved to Russia at the age of 11 and spent the rest of his childhood serving with his family as missionaries to Russia, where he actively helped with his Dad in their church! He trusted Christ as his Saviour shortly after moving to Russia, at the age of 11!

Pastor O. came back to America to attend camp in the summer during his teen years, there he surrendered his life to God and felt like God was calling him into full-time ministry.

He moved back to America when he became an adult and attended Providence Baptist College In Elgin, IL. There he received a bachelors degree in Pastoral Theology and met his wife Jessica.

He was able to serve on staff, then became the Assistant Pastor for 9 and a half years.

In 2023, Pastor O. felt the call to become a Pastor and accepted the position as Pastor of Unity Baptist Church in October!

Pastor and Mrs. O. have been blessed with four sweet children who actively serve in the church and witness and lead souls to Christ!
