What To Expect At Your Visit With Us
What do I wear?
We do not have a dress code at Unity Baptist Church! You can come in whatever you have!
You will see the Pastor and those in the choir that will wear more semi-formal/ business casual because they want to wear their best to hear God's Word but no one is looked down on or judged for wearing whatever they can! We are just happy you are here!
Do you have childcare?
UBC has some of the best nurseries around! With our newly remodeled and updated nurseries. All of our workers are well trained, background checked ladies who will care for your children with love and care! All of our nurseries are stocked with extra diapers and wipes and baby clothes for any babies or young ones that need them. We also sanitize our nurseries after each service!
What Bible do I bring or what if I don't have a Bible?
We have Bibles for our visiting friends and if anyone needs a Bible we are more than happy to supply them with one! We use the King James Bible at our church because when studying the translation techniques of old, we believe it is the only English translated Bible that is perfectly translated from the original Greek and Hebrew text.
Do I have to put my child in the nursery or the children's church?
There is no requirement to put your child in the nursery or Children's church! We know many parents would prefer to keep their children with them and that is perfectly ok!
If you have a young one that really struggles in the service we recommend you sit near the back this way you can take them out if they need to use the restroom or need a break from the service. We also have a nursing room Mother's can sit in that plays audio of the church as well.
Does the church have good security?
Yes we sure do! Unity Baptist Church has faithful men on security at all times looking out for the safety and well being of our church friends and family! We praise the Lord we have had no incidents at our church!
Why do you have multiple services?
All of the services we offer at UBC are very unique and special!
Sunday School is a time where we split up into different specific small groups (kids being with other kids their ages) and adults being together. We enjoy refreshments and fellowship and learn a more specific lesson based on our small group.
Sunday morning is our general service where the Bible is preached for the majority of the church that fits new believers and believers of old.
Sunday evening gets usually deeper in the Bible and the Pastor usually discusses more specific topics.
Wednesday evening we spend time giving prayer requests, praying together and we do a deeper Bible study as well.
Many people come to all three services because they all bring something special and God says to gather together "so much the more, as ye see the day approaching" or as the return of Jesus comes closer, but we appreciate you coming to any or all that you can!
